Our Programs
Education, culture, art, and community — building bridges between two great cities.
ASSCA's programs bring students, educators, and communities in Austin and Saltillo closer together through shared learning and cultural exchange. These initiatives include educational partnerships, workshops, webinars, student support efforts, and participation in programs such as Sister Cities International's Young Authors and Artists Showcase. By engaging people in both cities, ASSCA helps enrich lives and strengthen the bond between our communities.
Public Safety
ASSCA's public safety program promotes collaboration between Austin and Saltillo through training, exchange, and professional partnership. Recent efforts included a public safety workshop in Saltillo and a special visit to Austin by Saltillo firefighters, who trained alongside the Austin Fire Department in high-rise fire response, toured local facilities, and received donated rescue equipment. These initiatives strengthen public safety ties while building meaningful connections between both communities.
